FacStat Dashboard

Your Job Search,
Organized.

Independent school searches run on relationships, paper, and timing. FacStat's dashboard keeps every application, every resume version, and every reference you've asked, in one place — so nothing falls through the cracks between November head-of-school calls and April offers.

Five tools, built for this hiring cycle

Generic ATS trackers don't know that references are the bottleneck in indie school searches, or that you'll send a different resume to a boarding school than to a day school. FacStat does.

Application Tracker

Every job you save, every application you submit, and every interview you land — tracked through one clean status flow.

  • Saved → applied → interviewing → offered → decided
  • Per-app notes, dates, and next-action reminders
  • Filter by status, school tier, or geography in one click

Resume Library

Store every version of your resume and pick the right one per role. Most candidates need at least two — one teaching-forward, one leadership-forward.

  • Upload PDFs and label by target role
  • Set a default; swap when you apply
  • Preview securely — files stay private to you

References Tracker

Indie school searches live and die on the reference call. Track who you've asked, who's confirmed, and which schools you sent each reference to.

  • Status flow: not asked → asked → confirmed → submitted
  • Surface "outstanding asks > 7 days" so nothing stalls
  • Per-application reference selection so you remember

Saved Jobs

Pin the postings worth a second look. Add private notes you can come back to before the application closes.

  • One-tap save from any job in matches, search, or map
  • Private notes that only you see
  • Roll savedjobs into the tracker once you apply

Saved Schools

Some schools are dream schools whether they're hiring this year or not. Pin them and get notified when a role opens.

  • Build a watchlist of places you'd actually go
  • Get the first email when a matching role posts
  • Annotate why a school made your list — for your own future reference

Cover Letters

Draft, store, and version cover letters alongside the resumes they shipped with — so a year later you can still see exactly what you sent to which school.

  • Store one letter per application
  • Track which version went where
  • Re-use language across similar searches

How a search actually moves through it

The dashboard mirrors the rhythm of an indie school search — November discovery, December–January applications, February interviews, March reference calls, April decisions.

  1. 1

You take the Teacher Match Quiz

FacStat profiles you against 2,000+ NAIS schools and surfaces your top matches. Pin the ones that resonate to Saved Schools; save individual postings to Saved Jobs.

  2. 2

    You upload your materials once

Drop your teaching resume and your leadership resume into the Resume Library. Set a default. You won't need to dig through email attachments again.

  3. 3

You apply, and the tracker takes over

Move a saved job into the Application Tracker, attach which resume you sent, note the date, and pin a "next action" — call the head's office Friday, follow up after Thanksgiving, whatever the moment calls for.

  4. 4

    You ask your references early

Add your three references to the References Tracker before December. Mark each as asked. The dashboard surfaces anyone who hasn't responded in seven days so you don't get stuck waiting.

  5. 5

You decide in April with the full picture

When the offers come, the tracker shows you every detail of every search — who you sent what to, when interviews were, which references were submitted, what your notes said after the campus visit.

What stays private

Your materials are yours.

Resumes and references are visible only to you. We don't share, sell, or surface your data to schools without explicit opt-in.

Your search is yours.

Which jobs you've saved, applied to, or rejected — invisible to anyone but you. No "candidate database" sold to schools by default.

Your references know what they need to.

References only see the schools you submit them to, not your full tracker.
